Abstract This Order, consisting of 18 articles, regulates the entry of plants, seeds and seedlings into the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago. In particular, it prohibits the entry and/or importation of plants, seeds and seedlings of any species, whether native, exotic or ornamental, into the Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, without prior authorization of the Environment Coordination of Territorial Authority State District of Fernando de Noronha (ATDEFN). For phytosanitary control purposes, authorization for entry/import of plants will only be granted if the following procedures are satisfied: request for authorization must be made through a form and submitted to the Management of Plant Protection at ADAGRO - SEDE/RECIFE. Once the import process is authorized, the authorization issued by ADAGRO must be sent to the ATDEFN Coordinator at least 7 days before the expected date of shipment to the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago. Upon arrival at the island, the plants and/or their parts will be inspected and checked by an officer designated by the ATDEFN. Eventually, the material in full compliance with the authorization issued by ADAGRO, will receive the authorization to disembark. Full text Portuguese Website www.noronha.pe.gov.br
