Abstract

This Order, consisting of seven articles, creates the State Committee for the Control of Soybean Rust. The Committee is responsible to perform the following activities: identify the state demands and propose guidelines for the National Plan for the Control of Soybean Rust (PNCFS); elaborate recommendations for the Regional Groups, as a consequence of the information of the sources of meteorological conditions; define the location policy of diagnostic laboratories and meteorological stations, as well as the organization of the Regional Soybean Rust Control Groups; implement the state policy on field and laboratory para-technical training, in accordance with PNCFS definitions; and update, together with the Department of Plant Health of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (DSV/MAPA), the register of the technicians trained to carry out the control on Asian soybean rust in the State. The Agricultural Protection Agency of the State of Pará - ADEPARÁ will coordinate the Regional Soybean Rust Control Groups created by the Committee.
