Abstract This Order, consisting of 24 articles and 5 Annexes, establishes standards, criteria and procedures for the habilitation of private veterinarians to issue Animal Transit Guide (GTA). It also standardizes the model forms of Annexes I-V as follows: Annex I - request for habilitation; Annex II - registration of habilitated person; Annex III - opinion on the application of habilitation; Annex IV - term of commitment for training; and Annex V - request for cancellation or updating of habilitation. The issuance of GTA by private veterinarians for transit of ruminants may only be permitted when the purpose is the intra-state entry/exit movement of animals in the state of Ceará; and secondly when there is no impediment of health.
