Abstract This Order sets the prohibition of fishing with any tool or manner, as well as keeping on board, transit by boat, intentional landing of Carp - (Cyprinus carpio) in Shkodra lake, for the period from 1.4.2023 until 30.4.2023. Prohibition of fishing with any tool or manner, as well as keeping on board, transit on the boat, intentional landing of Gjuhca (cironka) – Alburnus Albidus Alborella in the lake of Shkodra, for the period from 1.4.2023 until 31.7.2023. For the period 1.4.2023 to 30.4.2023 it is allowed to fish only eel with hooks from entities equipped with fishing permits from the Lake Fisheries Management Organization of Shkodra, as provided for in the Eel Management Plan. For the period 1.5.2023 to 30.6.2023, the prohibition of fishing with nets in the coastal strip of 300 m from the coast shall also be applied. The location of the fishing boats will be according to the areas determined by the Lake Fisheries Management Organization of Shkodra. Fish seized from illegal fishing to be buried or distributed for charity. For the implementation of this order, a Joint Operational Action Plan should be drawn up by the Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture Services in coordination with the Lake Fisheries Management Organization of Shkodra.
