The present Regulations enter into force on 1 April 2009.
Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Wildlife Act, 1998. In particular, the Regulations lay down comprehensive provisions relating to the open seasons for various wildlife species. The text consists of 65 sections divided into 11 Parts as follows: Introductory matter (I); White-tailed deer open seasons (II); Elk open seasons (III); Moose open seasons (IV); Barren-ground caribou, bison and black bear open seasons (V); Mule deer open seasons (VI); Pronghorn antelope open seasons; upland game bird open seasons (VII); Upland game bird limits and use of raptors (VIII); Waterfowl open seasons (IX); Repeal and coming into force (X).
