The Act contains provisions on precious stones prospecting permits (Part 2), precious stones tenements (Part 3), entry on land and declared equipment (Part 4), rehabilitation and compensation (Part 5), opal mining cooperation agreements (Part 6) and native title land (Part 7). The Act also provides for Special powers of Warden's Court (Part 8). Other provisions concern record keeping, inspections and legal and administrative proceedings.
