The first is the set up of Local Forest Management Corporations (LFMCs), which will be mandated to manage Crown forests and oversee the competitive sale of the timber in given areas. The second is the Enhanced Shareholder Sustainable Forest Licences (SFLs), a group of mills and harvesters that collectively form a new company to manage Crown forests under the licence that is issued to them.
