Abstract The present Regulations enact the Energy Resources Conservation Act. The Regulations apply to exploration for petroleum, including exploration by a right holder and a person conducting a non-exclusive survey. Section 6 establishes that no person shall explore for petroleum except in accordance with a valid “authority to explore”.
