Section 2 establishes that the director may grant authorized status for an on-farm food safety programme that: a) is based on the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System as set out in the Codex Alimentarius; b) is implemented in a manner that is consistent with the Guidelines for the Application of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System as set out in the Codex Alimentarius; and c) that meets or exceeds the the requirements listed in this sections.
