The Ombudsman may carry out investigations regarding administrative action by a public authority and, on basis of the investigation, make recommendations to the public authority. The Act sets out the procedure of investigation. The Ombudsman shall keep a register of complaints. Schedule II sets out matters that cannot be subject to investigation by the Ombudsman.
