Abstract

Veterinary Department attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food introduces the new regulation as regards State Veterinary Supervision concerning international transportation of some animal freight, coordinated with veterinary services of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. The authorization of Veterinary Department attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and coordination of the transit with the central veterinary institutions of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova are not necessary for export outside CIS from the Russian Federation of the following animal freight: 1) raw materials of animal origin of all types; 2) animal feedstuffs of vegetable and animal origin; 3) ready-made meat, dairy and fish products of industrial manufacturing; 4) alimentary eggs, egg powder, skimmed milk, gelatine; 5) wildlife products. The authorization of Veterinary Department attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and coordination of the transit with the central veterinary institutions of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova are not necessary for import into the Russian Federation of the following animal freight: 1) ready-made meat-based products of animal origin (meat, milk, fish) of industrial manufacturing in sealed package not subject to restrictions on import and trade on the territory of the Russian Federation. Veterinary certificates issued by veterinary institutions of the exporting country must accompany all the imported freight.
