Abstract

This Chapter of the Delaware Code concerns obstruction of navigation in Delaware waters. Specifically, it lays down rules for casting ballast in tideway and associated penalty; sweeping for anchors, cables or buoys near breakwater and associated penalty; regulation of anchorage; obstructions interfering with use of shore or harbor; mistreatment of buoy, beacon and daymark and associated penalty; anchoring on range line of range lights and associated penalty; lien on vessel causing damage; obstructions of navigation in St. Jones' River and associated penalties; anchoring regulations in St. Jones' River; obstruction of navigation in Murderkill River and Spring Creek; removal or destruction of channel stakes in Murderkill River and associated penalty; liability for collision caused by anchoring in Deep Hole below Broadkiln Creek; and regulations for anchoring at mouth of Mahon's River and associated penalties.
