Abstract

The present Document aims to provide guidance on: 1) Strengthening nutrition aspects of policies and strategies in agricultural and food security programmes and projects; 2) Enhancing the nutrition impacts of existing and ongoing agricultural related interventions; and 3) Ensuring the Design and implementation of agriculture and food system investments are nutrition sensitive. It is meant for government institutions, but also for development partners, donors, NGOs, the private sector, research institutions and all stakeholders concerning agriculture and food security in Rwanda. The Guideline acts as a complementary document to the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Agriculture Transformation 2018-2024.
