Abstract

These regulations have been adopted to establish those uses of ionizing radiation which, in view of their beneficial and justified effects, shall be allowed. The provisions aim at ensuring adequate protection of people in current and future generations against the harmful effects of ionizing radiation and for the safety of radiation sources.
