It also provides for the control of ionizing radiation and the exploration, etc. of materials containing radioactive substances and the packing and transportation of radioactive material and radioactive waste. The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority shall be charged with the responsibility for nuclear safety and radiological protection regulation in Nigeria. The Act requires registration of premises where sources of ionizing radiation are kept. It also provides that no person shall produce or market any consumer product containing radioactive substances without licence issued by the Authority. Full text English Website www.placng.org
