Abstract

The Act shall apply to such areas in Botswana as the President may, from time to time, declare by notice in the Gazette (sect. 2). Every owner or occupier of land within an area to which the Act applies shall eradicate and destroy any burweed growing or being upon that land (sect. 3). Section 5 provides for the notification to the public of the duties of landowners or occupiers under this Act. The President may, by notice in the Gazette, declare the provisions of this Act applicable to other noxious weeds (sect. 7). (7 sections)
