Abstract The present Order is made under the Agricultural Products Marketing Act. In particular, the Order provides for the fixing, imposing and collecting of levies from certain turkey producers in Nova Scotia. Section 3 establishes that every producer shall pay to the Nova Scotia Turkey Marketing Board, in addition to the licence fees set out under the Plan, levies at the rate of $0.05 per pound live weight on every turkey sold by him that is in excess of his market allotment.
