Abstract The present Regulations implements the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act. Any person may apply for a Drilling Programme Authorization by completing and forwarding an application to the Board. Section 6 lists the requirements necessary for such an authorization. No operator shall in a drilling programme use drilling equipment that has not been proven under field conditions unless it has been approved by the Board or any person designated by the Board.
