Abstract The present Ordinance implements article 10 of the Hamburg Nature Protection Law of 7 August 2001 (HmbGVBl. p. 281). The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the notification of projects in order to safeguard the protection of nature. In particular, article 1 establishes that, inter alia, the following projects have to be notified to the competent authority: construction of greenhouses on agricultural land; elimination of tombs; conversion of greenland in flooding areas in building land; cultivation of Christmas trees; reclamation of land; establishment of waters for fish breeding.
