Abstract

Palm oil derived from palm fruit, botanical name Elaeis guineensis, shall be specially controlled food (Clause 1). Clause 3 of this Notification provides for requirements and rules to be satisfied by the manufacturing and processing of palm oil. The Notification further covers requirements for the food additives and contaminants in palm oil, and requirements for the labeling and containers of palm oil.
