This Notification shall come into force on 22nd August 2001.
Abstract

Clause 1 and Clause 2 are amended. Palm Oil, which is extracted from Elaeis guineedsis, is prescribed food to have qualities or standards (Clause 1). Palm Oil producers or importers for sale shall follow to the notification of the Ministry of Public Health, Re: Production processes, production equipment, and food storage (Clause 2). The Notification amends also the validation period of food registration licenses or labelling approvals, producers’ or importers’ permits of palm oil which were issued prior to the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 56 B.E. 2524 (1981), Re: Palm oil, dated 20th January B.E. 2524 (1981).
