Abstract

The remaining solution from monosodium glutamate production nowadays is not sold directly to consumers but is used as raw material for producing other kind of foods such as sauces, soybean sauces, fish sauces, brine for cooking, etc. Such foods are prescribed in the Notifications of the Ministry of Public Health especially in quality or standard. Therefore, the notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 14 B.E. 2522 (1979), Re: Prescribed qualities or standards and labels for remaining solution from monosodium glutamate production, dated 24th August B.E. 2522 (1979), shall be repealed.
