Abstract Chewing gum and candy are prescribed foods which are required to bare labels (Clause 2). Clause 4 stipulates the requirements and rules to be satisfied by labels of chewing gum and candy. Producers or importers of chewing gum or candy for sale shall follow to the Notification of Ministry of Public Health, Re: Production processes, production equipment, and foods storages. Chewing gum or candy producers or importers, whose permits issued prior to this notification, shall apply for food serial number within one year as from the come into force date of this notification.
