Abstract

Butter is prescribed food to have qualities or standards (Clause 2). Clause 4 provides for quality requirements and standards to be satisfied by butter. The Attachment of the Notification gives the types and quantities of food additives used in butter. Producers or importers of butter for sale shall follow to the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health, Re: Production Processes, Production Equipment, and Food Storage. The Notification further covers the requirements for the labelling and packing.
