Abstract

This Notification provides for the establishment of the West Bengal State Ganga River Conservation Authority in order to coordinate and implement the river conservation activities at the State level, take steps for comprehensive management of the river Ganga and to take measures for the effective abatement of pollution and conservation of the river Ganga in West Bengal.
