Abstract

The Central Government hereby delegates the powers with respect to the recognition to laboratories or institutes as environmental laboratories and appointment or recognition of Analysts as Government Analysts, as conferred by Clause (b) of Sub-section (i) of Section 12 and Section 13 respectively of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 to the Central Pollution Control Board. The work done by each Laboratory recognised under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, shall be included in the Annual Report of the Central Pollution Control Board.
