Abstract

The Ministry of Environment and Forests notifies the area up to 7.78 kilometres from the boundary of the protected area of Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve as an Eco-sensitive Zone in order to conserve and protect the area from the ecological and environmental point of view, and to protect, propagate or develop wildlife therein.
