Entry into force notes

The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 June 2014.

Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Waste Avoidance, Recovery and Disposal Act of 24 February 2012. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to notification and authorization procedure of waste. The text consists of 16 articles divided into5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Requirements for collectors, transporters, dealers and brokers of waste (2); Notification on behalf of collectors, transporters, dealers and brokers (3); Authorization for collectors, transporters, dealers and brokers of hazardous waste (4); Common provisions (5). Four Annexes are enclosed.
