Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 May 2012.
Abstract

The present Ordinance provides for the enforcement of the Foodstuff and Feedstuff Codex in its version of 22 August 2011 ((BGBl. I p. 1770). In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the duty to notify and report substances harmful to human and animal health. The text consists of 5 articles as follows: Duty of notification (1); Notification on behalf of food and feedstuff industries (2); Notification procedures for competent authorities (3); Repealed provisions (4); Entry into force (5).
