Abstract

The present Regulations are enacted under the Northern Pipeline Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the socio-economic and environmental terms and conditions in respect of the certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity declared to be issued under subsection 20(1) of the afore-mentioned Act to Foothills Pipe Lines (Alta.) Ltd. in respect of that portion of the pipeline in the province of Alberta. The text consists of 121 sections divided into 2 Parts as follows: Socio-economic terms and conditions (I); Environmental terms and conditions (II).
