Abstract

These Bye-Laws are divided into 13 articles plus two schedules. The aims and purposes of these Bye-Laws are to regulate different aspects of livestock and other animals including the power to detain, seize wandering livestock, the power to destroy certain animals, the power to prohibit the use of certain stables. Moreover, these Bye-Laws discipline the management of dangerous animals, animal causing nuisance, and the procedure for claiming livestock. The last part of the Bye-Laws regards the Council power on inspection and enforcement of the Bye-laws, also providing for penalties.
