This Norm enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Norm, consisting of 6 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes and regulates nursery and conservation of native stingless bees (meliponines) within the State of Rio Grande do Sul. In addition, this Norm aims at the implementation of meliponine nurseries, to meet the social and cultural purposes, scientific research, environmental education, conservation, exhibition, maintenance, breeding, reproduction and marketing of their products and byproducts. The Annex lists stingless bee species present in Rio Grande do Sul.
