Abstract This Norm, consisting of 12 articles, provides for the vaccination campaing of bovines against Foot and Mouth disease in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The campaign of vaccination of cattle and buffalo herd from FMD in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, occurs annually in two steps. The first stage is comprised of 1 to 31 May and includes vaccination of all cattle and buffaloes; the second stage is from 1 to 30 November and includes vaccination of cattle and buffaloes up to 24 months old.
