This Norm enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Norm, consisting of 15 articles and 3 Annexes, establishes criteria for authorizing the use of pesticides in seeds destined to exportation. The use of different pesticides in seeds and seedlings different than the recommended will be regulated by Law No. 7.802, of 11 July 1989, and Decree No. 4.074, of 4 January 2002. Special attention will be dedicated for the following activities: pesticides storage; use of individual protecting equipment; final destination of packaging and residues; environment and safety of use. Annexes list model forms and specifies terms and conditions to perform the above mentioned activities.
