This Norm enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Norm, consisting of 28 articles divided into five Sections and one Annex, establishes technical criteria referring to the execution of environmental investigation works for the detection of soil and water contamination by hydrocarbons and procedures for their rehabilitation in areas occupied by retail stations selling fuels derived from petroleum within the State of Espírito Santo. The work to be carried out for the detection of fuel products derived from petroleum in the State of Espírito Santo must be carried out in accordance with the following steps: Step 1A - Preliminary Assessment; Step 1B - Investigation for Volatile Organic Compounds; Step 2 - Quantitative Investigation by Chromatography; Step 3 - Risk Analysis; Step 4A - Environmental Rehabilitation Plan; Step 4B - Environmental Rehabilitation.
