Abstract This Norm, consisting of 13 articles completed by four Annexes, establishes criteria and procedures for the creation of Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN). The interested owner must request the Environmental Secretariat (SEMA) to create the Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN), in whole or in part of his property, using the model of request contained in Annex I of this Norm. The application must be signed by the owner, observing the following: in the case of an individual, the owner's spouse or partner must sign together; in the case of a legal entity, the application must be signed by the legal representative with power of disposal of the company/entity's property provided for in the Agreement or bylaws; when it comes to condominium ownership, all condominium owners must sign the application. The Special Advisory Office of SEMA will carry out the analysis of the regularity of the application and the documents presented by the interested party, according to the requirements set forth in articles 1 and 2 of this Norm, and record if the information in the application match the documentation submitted.
