Abstract

This Norm approves the Technical Regulation on the Production, Identity and Quality of Milk Type A, Technical Regulation on Identity and Quality of Refrigerated Raw Milk, Technical Regulation on the Identity and Quality of Pasteurized Milk and the Technical Regulation on the Collection of Refrigerated Raw Milk and its Transport. Annex I establishes the minimum requirements to be met for the production, identity and quality of type A milk destined to National consumption. Annex II specifies the minimum requirements to be met for the production, identity and quality of Type B Refrigerated Milk and Type B Pasteurized Milk. Annex III deals with the Technical Regulation on Production, Identity and Quality of Milk Type C, establishing the minimum requirements to be met for the identity and quality of Raw Milk C type, and Pasteurized Milk C type, for as long as the production of this type of milk continues. Annex IV specifies the Technical Regulation on the Collection of Refrigerated Raw Milk and its Transport.
