This Norm MAPA enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Norm, consisting of 17 articles and one Annex, regulates zootechnical test centres entitled to issue the Special Certificate of Identification and Production (CEIP) for cattle slaughtering, genetically evaluated, and approving the report-model. It establishes that the maximum age of the animals for obtaining a CEIP is 30 months, and the Certificate shall be issued until the last day of the year in which the animal is 2 years old. For the issuance of CEIP, the zootechnical test centres shall request the registration of the test with the Inspection Service of Livestock Inputs of the Federal Superintendence of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply in the unit of the federation where is headquartered and presents a technical project to be submitted for analysis with a view to approval by the Department of Inspection of Livestock Inputs-DFIP. The record must be requested by the legal representative of the zootechnical centre, with specific information and documents.
