Abstract This Norm, consisting of 7 articles, provides for the eradication of Amaranthus palmeri in the state of Mato Grosso. It specifies that the Amaranthus palmeri pest is considered as an official pest controlled by the State of Mato Grosso, according to art. 2 of Decree No. 1524, and set standards for its eradication. For eradication of Amaranthus palmeri pest are established specific phytosanitary measures, based on art. 13 of Law 8.589 and in art. 20 of Decree No. 1.524 and detailed in the text.
