Abstract This Norm, consisting of four Titles, establishes administrative procedures for monitoring, surveillance, control and record of environmental and forestry compensation, which will be carried out under the Institute of Environment and Water Resources Management of the Federal District, Brasilia Ambiental - IBRAM. This Norm, in accordance with art. 33 of Complementary Law No. 827 of 22 July 2010, to support the implementation and maintenance of the conservation and forestry units in case of implementation through the acquisition and transfer of property and equipment or services to benefit the environment, in accordance with Federal District Decree No. 14.783 of 17 June 1993, as amended by Decree No. 23.585 of 05 February 2003. The monitoring, supervision and recording of forestry compensations made through the planting of seedling are not regulated by this Norm, being the responsibility of the Forestry Management - GEFLO/SUGAP.
