Abstract This Norm, consisting of 74 articles divided into four Titles and three Annexes, creates the National System for Control of the Origin of Forestry Products (Sinaflor), in compliance with the provisions of art. 35 of Law No. 12.651 of 2012, with the purpose of controlling the origin of wood, charcoal and other forestry products and by-products and integrating the respective data from the different federative entities. Data and information on rural properties from the Rural Environmental Registration System (SICAR), the Environmental Declaratory Act (ADA), the transport and storage of forest products from the Forest Origin Document (DOF), from the Federal Technical Registry of Potentially Polluting Activities will be integrated to Sinaflor and Users of Environmental Resources (CTF/APP) and the Federal Technical Registry of Environmental Defense Instruments (CTF/AIDA). The coordination, inspection and regulation of Sinaflor's operational procedures will be the responsibility of IBAMA.
