Abstract

This Part of Chapter 379 of the Florida Statutes provides for nonrecreational licenses. These types of licenses include license on purse seines; saltwater products license; net licenses; special activity licenses; and Apalachicola Bay oyster harvesting license. The Part further provides for licensing and other requirements for wholesale and retail saltwater products dealers; freshwater fish dealer’s license; license required for fur and hide dealers; stone crab; blue crab; spiny lobster; spiny lobster trap certificate program; fees for the retrieval of spiny lobster, stone crab, blue crab, and black sea bass traps during closed season; fees for shrimp fishing in Tampa Bay; license fee for private game preserves and farms; private hunting preserve license fees; capturing, keeping, possessing, transporting, or exhibiting venomous reptiles, reptiles of concern, conditional reptiles, or prohibited reptiles; taking and possession of alligators, trapping licenses and fees; required tagging of alligators and hides, fees and revenues; exhibition or sale of wildlife, fees and classifications; personal possession of wildlife; and tag fees for sale of Lake Okeechobee game fish.
