The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2012.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Act on protection against non-ionizing radiation (BGBl. I p. 2433). In particular, the present Ordinance regulates the protection and precaution with regard to adverse effects of non-ionizing radiation generated by the application of such radiation on humans. The text consists of 11 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Definition of terms (2); Requirements for generating non-ionizing radiation (3); Tasks and qualifications of personnel (4); Vocational training (5); Equivalence in other member states (6); Duty to inform (7); Duty to keep books (8); Penalties (9); Transitional provisions (10); Entry into force (11). Eight Annexes are enclosed.
