Abstract

The present Regulation is enacted under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. As mandated by the BC Energy Plan. The Regulation establishes the “Net Profit Royalty Programme” intending to stimulate development of natural gas and oil resources by sharing the capital risk of successful developments and recognizing the long-lead times associated with these developments. The text consists of 20 sections and 1 Schedule.
