Abstract This Ordinance provides for the technical design and organizational implementation of the exemption in accordance with Article 20 of the National Emissions Trading Act 2022 - NEHG 2022. The Ordinance ensures that the greenhouse gas emissions would not be exposed by both the EU emissions trading and the NEHG 2022 Acts. The text outlines the general requirements for exemption application, exemption exclusion, requirements for registration of the owner of a plant in NEIS and appropriate use and amount of the energy sources. The Ordinance contains 18 Articles divided into 5 Sections as follow: General Provision (1); General Requirements (2); Pre-consideration of the EU ETS (3); Subsequent Consideration of the EU ETS (4); and Final Provision (5).
