Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 18 sections divided into five Parts and completed by one Schedule, are under the Navigation Act 2012 and establish the requirements to be met in order to perform navigation activity in waters under Australian jurisdiction. In particular, Part 2 specifies Australian Border Force vessel management plans (including Application for acceptance of CVMP and AMSA); Part 3 establishes Safety requirements of navigation (including liability for loss of life, division of liability and right of contribution). The Schedule lists Salvage Convention, the Common Understanding Concerning Articles 13 and 14.
