It also establishes an advisory committee, which shall advise the Minister about matters related to the operations of the Corporation. The Act defines functions of the Corporation in respect of electricity, water and fuel and functions of the Corporation in general. It shall, among other things, acquire, store, treat, distribute, market and otherwise supply water for any purpose. The Cabinet may prescribe safety standards for the exercise of powers and the performance of functions of the Corporation.
