Abstract

This plan, consisting of 22 sections divided into five Parts, under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, concerns koalas an aims to promote the continued existence of viable koala populations in the wild, to prevent the decline of koala habitats, including by providing for the rehabilitation of cleared or otherwise disturbed koala habitats and to promote future land use and development that is compatible with the survival of koala populations in the wild. The plan is completed by two Schedules on the definition and dictionary.
