Abstract This Law consisting of 46 articles divided in 9 Chapters aims at protecting and regulating activities regarding use and exploitation of natural resources in Palestine. It establishes the General Administration of Natural Resources. The new department shall: prepare scientific studies and research pertaining to natural resources; issue directions for geological search and excavation for surface and ground resources; prepare geological maps; list quantity and quality of natural resources; supervise natural resources investments; explore, search and inspect natural resources; enter any lands or property for one of the its purposes; and issue necessary licenses in coordination with other relative authorities.
