Abstract This Act, consisting of 25 sections divided into four Parts and completed by two Schedules, provides for the establishment and operation of the Natural Resources Commission. The Commission will be an independent body that will provide a sound scientific basis for the management of natural resources, will support the adoption of standards and targets for natural resources management and support in the implementation of the Native Vegetation Act 2003.
